Taekwondo
The way of the hand and the foot Taekwondo is a martial art that focuses on powerful kicking techniques, making it distinct from other martial arts like karate or southern kung fu styles. The philosophy behind this is that the legs are the longest and strongest weapons a martial artist has, making them ideal for executing strikes without leaving oneself vulnerable to retaliation. The Korean people historically believed that hands were too valuable to be used in combat.

Hapkido
The way of coordinating energy Hapkido is a versatile Korean martial art that emphasizes self-defense using joint locks, strikes, and traditional weapons. Its techniques range from long-range kicks to close-range throws, all centered around circular motion, non-resistance, and control of the opponent.
The circular motion principle ensures that all movements are round, while the water principle emphasizes adapting flexibly to the opponent's movements. Non-resistance principles enable the Hapkido practitioner to influence and redirect the opponent's movements without relying on brute strength. K Martial Arts Centre teaches Hapkido techniques for self-defense against strangers, various attacks, and bullies. In addition to teaching physical techniques, we also promote "Stranger Danger" awareness and training. Our students receive certified certification from The Korea Hapkido Total Federation, and our centre is an official member of the federation. |
